:: New Memo Type: "Code-Memo"

MemoMaster offers "Code Memos" now. This Memo type is specifically aligned for the support of programmers, and for the storage and administration of so called codesnipes. Code Memos support source text highlighting, methods and character lists as well as line numbering.

:: New Cell Format for Calculation Memos

The new cell format "Static" allows to secure calculation cells concerning overwriting by mistake. It is ideal to overwrite description cells in data entry forms.

:: Password Protection of Individual Memo Elements
Apart from the already existing password protection of Memo databases, individual Memos can now be protected with a password against unauthorized access.

:: Expanded Permissions Managament for Memo Elements
The permissions management was largely expanded for the Professional-Edition. User accounts are created and permissions are assigned for the creation and deletion of Memo databases in the existing user and permissions administration. The function to be able to assign user and group permissions for individual elements in the tree as well as individual Memos or whole folders has recently been added.

This feature allows you to select who will be able to read, edit or delete an element. Further, it can be selected who will be able to print, export, may change the permissions or use Drag & Drop. This allows e.g. individual users or whole teams to either have a reading permission or the permission to use Drag & Drop or be blocked to delete items.

:: New Memo Link Wizard
The new Memo Link Wizard makes it easier to link Memo elements. The wizard offers support when creating internal links.

:: New Export Wizard with Reporting and Structure Export
The new Export Wizard allows the export of several Memos to different formats at the same time; so that all exported Memos are saved in individual documents of different file formats.

You may select the output format for Text, Calculation or Code Memos in the Export Wizard. All selected Text Memos for the export can be exported to the output format Microsoft Word, Calculation Memos in a Excel Spreadsheet or Code Memos in an ANSI Source Code file.

With the support of the Export Wizard Text Memos can be exported as reports, i.e. saved together in one document. Hereby the automatic page change is optional now.

:: Titles for New Elements Can Be Defined
If a new Memo is created, it is standardized to e.g. the name a new folder "New Folder". You can now choose an own, individual (also variable) title via program settings.

:: Recycle Bin Function
It can happen that a Memo gets deleted by mistake. In order to retrieve data, a recycle bin will be available from now on. It can be adjusted via program settings whether deleted elements shall immediately be deleted or shall be placed in the recycle bin first.

:: Expiration Date for Memos
It may happen that thoughts, ideas or small calculations get stored in a Memo that is only important for a certain amount of time. For this reason a Memo can now be assigned with an expiration date. The Memo will automatically be deleted on the expiration date. This allows you to keep stored what is really important.

:: Timestamp
The timestamp function allows you to insert the day with date, time and user name together at the end of a page or at the end of a Memo respectively.

:: Remember Memo Elements for Next Work Session
MemoMaster is now able to remember a certain element which will open directly during startup.

:: Support for Unicode Format
Unicode can be activated as document storage format in Version 3. Unicode is an international standard, in which a digital code gets assigned for each meaningful character or text elements in the long run.

:: Full Text Indexing for File Archive
If desired, archived documents will now also be full text indexed when checking in to the Professional-Edition. The Memo search will therefore also consider this content. The formats MS-Word, MS-Excel, Acrobat PDF, HTML and Text are supported.

:: Expanded and Optimized E-Mail Archive
The performance of the e-mail archive for Microsoft Outlook was increased. Additionally, the address of the addressee and sender will be extracted of a particular e-mail and placed in the header of each archived e-mail.

:: Additional New Features
The limit of being able to open 4 Memo databases at the same time only won't exist any more.

Also, you are able to surpress the automatic page change after every Memo during the data export and printing output.

Additionally, two further themes were created which allow you to change the layout of the program - if desired.
